Are they waterproof?
Yes. AONIC Flow is IPX8 ocean-rated and fully submersible to 10m for 30 minutes. They’re built for saltwater, swimming, wipeouts, and real water sessions. After saltwater or chlorine use, we recommend rinsing with fresh water and drying before charging.
Will I lose them?
No. Every pair comes with an added safety leash, designed to keep your headphones attached during wipeouts, swims, and rough water sessions. So you can ride with confidence.
Do I need my phone?
No. That’s the whole point. AONIC Flow has built-in 32GB storage, so you can load your music directly onto the headphones and leave your phone safely on shore. No phone in your wetsuit. No risky waterproof pouch. No connection stress in the water.
Can I hear my surroundings?
Yes. AONIC Flow uses open-ear bone conduction, so your ear canals stay open. You can hear your music while still hearing waves, wind, riders, surfers, and people around you. It’s not noise-cancelling — it’s built for awareness.

Could not be happier with this purchase and it completely transformed my experience on the water. I spent hours longer than I would have out there. I used the leash provided, but they never came off or moved even when I crashed. Sound was great and they were easy to use and switch tracks/volume while riding.
Love them! Sound quality is great they stay on perfectly during sessions, of the water they are also a great way to listen to music with or without your phone and listen to music!
Battery life is plenty for a full session but sadly not enough for a full day of listening without recharging. Loving it very much
So excited to use them and discover the sound quality and comfort was exceptional. I use to wear another brand Sh@#s and these are just superior in build and sound. I wear them all day and I forget they are on my head. Highly recommend them for any sport!
Amazing product! I had tried the Amazon sets and was not impressed. Wonderful sound quality in both bluetooth and sd card modes, with plenty of volume.
I use them for kiteboarding and foiling, they stay put perfectly.
Tested them out for lap swims first and the audio was so clear! It was also very easy to download songs onto the drive. I then tested it when went Wakeboarding and it was perfect! I could listen out on the water and still be able to hear the buzzer to come in. The crash leash is great too, I had a major crash and only the left side fell off. Super great product, I’m so glad I got them!!
I totally thought this was a scam. It was advertised all over the place on Facebook, like some Temu deal, but it didn't exist on Amazon, which seemed unusual. I trust Amazon to vet products and cover purchases if things go sideways.
But damn, these things are amazing! I already have a pair of Shokz, but the audio is way clearer and I couldn't believe it was even better under water! I was not prepared for that. I don't think I've ever experienced being able to hear under water!
The only downside I discovered is that bluetooth totally shuts down under water while using my Apple watch. It's also just a bit big around the back of my head, and I have a fairly big head.
Packaging is nice and professional, the music quality is good outside the water and once i had a crash with wakeboarding somehow the music got even better (wet). Love the product, very good price!
I've used headsets like this for a few years, swimming and wingfoiling. Just returned from a lake trip sand the Aonics sound quality is best of any I've tried and the leash is essential!
I like it. I had Shokz OpenRun before and this was less expensive. I like how it connects to multiple Bluetooth sources and switches automatically. The only downside in comparison was the Aonic meds to be charged more often with my use.
Unfortunately there’s no shuffle button or feature to play songs randomly from the memory card. Bluetooth works ok but will cut easily and occasionally you have to reconnect if your phone or the headphones are submerged too long, which can be hard for kiting with body dragging back to your board. Memory card is good but takes a while to read and write songs onto it, about 1hr per 1gig. Would be 5 stars if there was a shuffle media button, when you turn the headphones off they will resume playing from the first uploaded track so you have to skip a lot of songs to find newer songs you’ve uploaded. Sound quality is good for induction style headphones.
These headphones are great. I wear them kiteboarding, running, biking, and golfing. I like the feeling of not having anything in my ears and they stay on surprisingly well.
Great product, they have survived the water and work as advertized but theyre a little quiet. Max volume and I can just hear them while on the water depending on wind noise
the headphones are just incredible! you can still do everything like you do normally but listening to music! the best thing for watersports! you have your ear still open in case you need to hear anything from the outside, just perfect!
I wasn't too impressed the first time I used it - every time I turned my head to take a breath, the sound distorted. And couldn't hear a thing in the hotel tub! However, did a bit of research and read the earphones work better if you wear earplugs as well. This turned out to be correct. Seems counter productive, but I can hear all the time now. Very pleased.

How do I load music onto them?
It's as easy as a USB drive. Plug the magnetic cable into your computer and drag-and-drop your music files directly onto the headphones. Any audio file works, and no software is required. No computer? Use the USB-C adaptor from the box with your phone. The 32GB of storage holds 10,000+ songs. In MP3 mode songs play on shuffle only: you can skip tracks, but you cannot pick a song or play an album in order.
I don't have a computer. Can I load music from my phone?
Yes. Plug the magnetic cable into the USB-C adaptor from the box and connect it to an iPhone 15 or newer, or a phone with a USB-C port. The headphones show up in your Files app like a USB drive, and you copy your music files across. The adaptor does not fit iPhones with a Lightning port, so those need a computer.
Can I stream Spotify or Apple Music in the water?
Because Bluetooth signals cannot transmit through water, you cannot stream Spotify while submerged. However, you can easily drag and drop your downloaded music files directly onto the headphones. For beach warm-ups or running on land, you can stream Spotify normally using the built-in Bluetooth 5.4.

Yes. They work with sunglasses, a hood or a helmet. The adjustable rubber strap in the box lets you tighten the fit, and customers tell us they stay in place under a helmet.
Can I use them in the pool?
Yes. They are rated IPX8 to 10 metres for 30 minutes and play from built-in storage underwater. Rinse them with fresh water after chlorine, the same as after salt water.
How does bone conduction work?
Transducers sit against your cheekbones and transmit sound directly to your inner ear. Your ears stay completely open, meaning you can hear the ocean, the wind, and your music all at once.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 10 hours of continuous playback. They fully recharge in 1.5 hours via the included magnetic cable.
Can I take calls with them?
Yes. Over Bluetooth you can take calls like any other headphones. Bluetooth does not work underwater, so calls are for above the water.
