I totally thought this was a scam. It was advertised all over the place on Facebook, like some Temu deal, but it didn't exist on Amazon, which seemed unusual. I trust Amazon to vet products and cover purchases if things go sideways.
But damn, these things are amazing! I already have a pair of Shokz, but the audio is way clearer and I couldn't believe it was even better under water! I was not prepared for that. I don't think I've ever experienced being able to hear under water!
The only downside I discovered is that bluetooth totally shuts down under water while using my Apple watch. It's also just a bit big around the back of my head, and I have a fairly big head.
Packaging is nice and professional, the music quality is good outside the water and once i had a crash with wakeboarding somehow the music got even better (wet). Love the product, very good price!
I've used headsets like this for a few years, swimming and wingfoiling. Just returned from a lake trip sand the Aonics sound quality is best of any I've tried and the leash is essential!
I like it. I had Shokz OpenRun before and this was less expensive. I like how it connects to multiple Bluetooth sources and switches automatically. The only downside in comparison was the Aonic meds to be charged more often with my use.
Unfortunately there’s no shuffle button or feature to play songs randomly from the memory card. Bluetooth works ok but will cut easily and occasionally you have to reconnect if your phone or the headphones are submerged too long, which can be hard for kiting with body dragging back to your board. Memory card is good but takes a while to read and write songs onto it, about 1hr per 1gig. Would be 5 stars if there was a shuffle media button, when you turn the headphones off they will resume playing from the first uploaded track so you have to skip a lot of songs to find newer songs you’ve uploaded. Sound quality is good for induction style headphones.
These headphones are great. I wear them kiteboarding, running, biking, and golfing. I like the feeling of not having anything in my ears and they stay on surprisingly well.
Great product, they have survived the water and work as advertized but theyre a little quiet. Max volume and I can just hear them while on the water depending on wind noise
Fantastic that these were free. A little light-weight, a little small, and a little too dark, but really nice to have an extra pair of glasses in a pinch!
Technologie incroyable!!!
Ça a changé la donne une fois en mer c’est vraiment magique.
Aussi des écouteurs très bon pour la salle de sport.
J’ai déjà acheté pour moi et pour mon beau frère.
Je conseille à toute personne d’essayer ce produit. Bravo!!!!
Both the head phones sound great but they shipped missing the safety leash’s on both. Unfortunately I can’t use them without it. The company is sending them to me but I’m still waiting for them to arrive
More to follow. Just got them and they feel and sound great. Loading music was okay. The big test comes when my kayak surf season begins. I’ll be putting them through some fun days on the water and will post on social media

I've loaded 500 mp3 songs onto the headphones and it went very easy. I have not been out on the water yet with them, but I can already tell these are going to be better than previous bone conducting headphone for the easier simple control buttons. In the past I've own two Shokz and an H2Audio bone conducting headphone and all has smaller more difficult controls. I can see that Aonics could even be controlled in the winter with wetsuit neoprene gloves. The audio quality is similar to the Shokz and far better than the H2Audio
Submersible to 10 metres for 30 minutes. Fully salt-water resistant. After your session, just rinse with fresh water. Not just sweat-proof — ocean-proof.

The Founder
Built by a kitesurfer. For watersports athletes.
“Every session I'd have to choose between music and the ocean. I refused to accept that.”
— Ben, Founder of AONIC
Ben has been kitesurfing for over a decade. He knows what it feels like to drop into a perfect run with the right song playing — and he knows the frustration of headphones that fall off on the first wipeout.
After years of duct-taping earbuds under helmets and losing three pairs of headphones to the ocean, he decided to build the headphones he always wanted. AONIC Flow is the result.
2019
The problem
Lost his third pair of headphones to a wipeout in Tarifa. Decided enough was enough.
2021
The prototype
First bone conduction prototype tested in the ocean. Survived. The music didn't stop.
2023
The product
After 18 months of testing with pro kitesurfers, surfers, and SUP athletes — AONIC Flow was ready.
2024
AONIC is born
Launched to a waitlist of 2,000 watersports athletes who were tired of compromising.
FAQ
Everything you need to know.
Can I stream Spotify or Apple Music in the water?
Because Bluetooth signals cannot transmit through water, you cannot stream Spotify while submerged. However, you can easily drag-and-drop your downloaded MP3 files directly onto the headphones. For beach warm-ups or running on land, you can stream Spotify normally using the built-in Bluetooth 5.3.
How do I load music onto them?
It's as easy as a USB drive. Plug the magnetic cable into your computer and drag-and-drop your MP3 files directly onto the headphones. No software required.
Will they fall off during a wipeout?
No. AONIC Flow uses a titanium open-ear arc that wraps behind your head, combined with silicone ear hooks. Every pair also ships with a safety leash for total peace of mind.
Are they actually waterproof? What about salt water?
Yes. AONIC Flow is rated IPX8 — submersible to 10 metres for 30 minutes. They are fully salt-water resistant. After your session, just rinse them with fresh water.
How does bone conduction work?
Transducers sit against your cheekbones and transmit sound directly to your inner ear. Your ears stay completely open, meaning you can hear the ocean, the wind, and your music all at once.
Do I need my phone?
No. With 32GB of built-in storage, you can leave your phone on the beach.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 10 hours of continuous playback. They fully recharge in 1.5 hours via the included magnetic dock.
What sports are they designed for?
Kitesurfing, surfing, SUP, windsurfing, wakeboarding, open water swimming, running, and cycling.
When will my order ship?
Batch 1 pre-orders are currently in production and will ship within 6 weeks of your order date.
What's your return policy?
We offer a 30-Day Ocean Guarantee. Take them out. Wipeout. If you don't love them, return them for a full refund, no questions asked.
